Our client is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential support to the production team by ensuring CNC programs, materials, and production documentation are accurate and up to date. You will collaborate closely with supervisors, purchasing, and machine operators to support efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all CNC programs created in Mastercam for production parts (wood panels, plastic components, Corian countertops, etc.).
- Prepare customer orders prior to production, including bills of materials (BOMs), order-specific programs, nesting files, and labels.
- Monitor and ensure sufficient raw material inventory for upcoming production runs.
- Collaborate with supervisors, purchasers, and machine operators to support smooth production flow.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and optimize production times.
- Upon hiring, you will receive training to familiarize yourself with our products and internal management systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Mastercam software.
- Comfortable communicating in both French and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for production tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SolidWorks software.
- Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or a related production environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. (flexibility available)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary based on experience (to be discussed during the interview process).
- 3 weeks of paid vacation + 1 additional week between Christmas and New Year s Day.
- Group insurance (50% company-paid; individual or family coverage, including dental).
- RRSP option with company contribution.
Salary/Rate: $25-$30/HR CAD (depends on experience level). This is a full time position.
