Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Procurement Operations Intake Analyst for a
contract assignment with one of our premier
Management Consulting clients in
Miramar, FL. This will be a hybrid position (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday onsite, Monday/Friday remote).
Responsibilities :
- Supports procurement operations by managing intake workflows, ensuring accurate request routing, and driving timely execution across category, sourcing, and purchasing teams.
- Serves as a central coordinator to maintain visibility into request status, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure requests progress efficiently through the procurement lifecycle.
- Looking for a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their work and drives tasks forward effectively. The ideal candidate brings a can-do mindset, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Success in this position depends on strong follow-through, adaptability, and a willingness to step in and problem-solve to keep workflows moving efficiently.
- Intake Review & Routing
- Review incoming procurement requests submitted via intake tools
- Validate completeness, accuracy, and required documentation
- Confirm appropriate routing of requests to appropriate teams based on category, complexity, and spend thresholds
- Reject or return incomplete submissions with clear guidance to requestors
- Workflow Coordination
- Monitor intake queues and assignment logic to ensure proper distribution of requests
- Identify and correct misrouted or incomplete submissions
- Serve as a central point of coordination across category, sourcing, and purchasing teams
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to drive timely action
- Throughput & SLA Management
- Track requests as they progress through intake, sourcing, and downstream workflows
- Follow up with assigned teams to ensure timely action and adherence to SLAs
- Escalate delays, bottlenecks, or capacity constraints as needed
- Reporting & Operational Visibility
- Produce weekly reporting on request volume, status, cycle times, and backlog
- Highlight aging requests and those requiring acceleration
- Provide transparency into overall workflow performance
- Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in intake, routing, or workflow processes
- Recommend and support improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and user experience
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or operations coordination
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Coupa preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and stakeholders simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel or reporting tools
- Experience with ticketing/intake systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Coupa, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with senior audiences
