Senior Manager – Full Stack Engineering (Python, AWS & AI)

Role Overview

Seeking a Senior Manager to lead engineering teams delivering scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS. Requires strong Python full-stack development, AWS expertise, AI-assisted coding experience, and proven leadership across multiple teams and complex delivery programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams, technical strategy, architecture, and delivery.

• Oversee distributed systems on AWS, EKS, and OpenShift.

• Drive CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, security, and cloud optimization.

• Establish AI-assisted development practices using Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.

• Govern AI-generated code quality, security, privacy, and compliance.

• Guide AI/LLM integrations, including RAG, embeddings, APIs, and agentic workflows.

• Manage hiring, workforce planning, delivery risks, and executive-level client relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 12–15 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.

• Strong hands-on Python full-stack development and AWS expertise, including EKS.

• Demonstrated AI-assisted coding experience across development, testing, and code review.

• Experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD, and IaC tools.

• Knowledge of Go and Node.js; Go is an added advantage.

• Practical knowledge of LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, and agentic workflows.

• Proven experience leading multiple teams, managing delivery, and engaging executive stakeholders.

• US healthcare payer experience, including claims, enrollment, benefits, and provider networks.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or X12 EDI.

• Consulting, client delivery, and business development experience.
