  • Identify, qualify, and engage Edge/Metro Data Center operators as energy off-takers: co-location providers, AI/HPC facility operators, enterprise-owned data centers, and emerging edge compute operators

  • Build and actively manage a qualified project pipeline covering ESS-based power services and on-site Gas Turbine + ESS hybrid energy systems

  • Develop account plans for priority targets and maintain CRM hygiene with accurate opportunity tracking, stage progression, and forecast inputs

  1. ESS-Based Power Service Sales

  • Represent Qcells' ESS-based Power Service offerings (OmniSkid, standalone BESS, demand management, backup/resilience solutions) to Data Center customers

  • Conduct energy demand analysis and preliminary load profiling in coordination with the Engineering team to size and position ESS solutions

  • Articulate value propositions around resilience, peak shaving, demand charge reduction, and grid services revenue for mission-critical customers

  1. Gas Turbine + ESS On-Site Energy Solution Sales (Hanwha Group)

  • Introduce and position Hanwha Group's Gas Turbine + ESS integrated on-site energy solution to Data Center customers requiring firm, dispatchable behind-the-meter power

  • Educate customers on hybrid power system architecture (GT/CHP + BESS microgrid), operational benefits, and total cost of ownership vs. grid-only alternatives

  • Coordinate with Hanwha Group solution engineering and business development counterparts to ensure accurate technical positioning and proposal alignment

  • Proposal Development & RFP Response Support Lead the development of customer-facing energy proposals: scope definition, solution configuration, financial summary (LCOE, bill savings, payback), and commercial terms

  • Support RFP responses in collaboration with Engineering, Project Finance, and Legal-managing customer timelines and ensuring proposal quality

  • Refine proposal templates and solution packaging materials based on customer feedback and win/loss analysis

  1. Customer Education & Structured Con tra ct Support

  • Educate prospective off-takers on project financing structures (ESA, PPA, direct ownership), interconnection basics, and on-site energy permitting considerations

  • Support contract negotiation preparation by coordinating inputs from Legal, Project Finance, and the Business Development team

  • Serve as the customer's primary point of contact through LOI execution, handing off to the project execution team at financial close

  1. Market Intelligence & Internal Reporting

  • Track Edge/Metro Data Center energy demand trends, competitive landscape (Aggreko, Bloom Energy, Enchanted Rock, PowerSecure, etc.), and customer procurement signals

  • Provide regular pipeline updates, win/loss reports, and market insights to the Head of Business Strategy, Planning & Operations

  • Flag strategic patterns (customer clustering, product gaps, pricing feedback) that inform upstream business development and product strategy

  • Qualified Edge/Metro DC off-taker pipeline - maintained with stage, deal size, and timeline visibility

  • Customer energy proposals and RFP responses - technically sound, commercially competitive

  • ESS and Gas Turbine + ESS solution positioning materials tailored to Data Center customer needs

  • Monthly pipeline report and market intelligence summary for leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Energy, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field

  • 5-8 years of experience in energy solution sales, with a focus on Data Center, mission-critical facilities, or C&I customers

  • Existing relationships with Edge/Metro Data Center operators, co-location providers, or AI/HPC facility procurement teams strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of ESA/PPA structures, project finance basics, and EPC commercial terms

  • Ability to conduct or support energy demand analysis and translate technical outputs into customer-facing value narratives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experienced in executive-level customer presentations

  • Hunter mindset with the credibility to engage technical and procurement stakeholders at Data Center operators

  • Comfortable bridging technical solution detail and commercial/financial value story for diverse customer audiences

  • Self-directed and pipeline-oriented; thrives in a build-phase environment without a fully established playbook
