Summary

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Systems Support Specialist.

Position Type:    Full-Time, Contract to hire
Duration:            8+ months
Location:            Charlotte, NC / St. Louis, MO (Onsite)
 

As a Systems Support Specialist, you will:

  • This role troubleshoots hardware and software issues, supports end users, ensures system reliability, and assists with system upgrades, security, and documentation to keep IT operations running smoothly.
  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and phone calls
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Assist users with password resets, access issues, and application usage
  • Monitor system performance, servers, and network health
  • Perform routine maintenance such as updates, patches, and backups
  • Identify and address potential system issues before they impact users
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Deploy and update operating systems and business applications
  • Track and manage IT asset inventory
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN, Wi Fi, VPN)
  • Configure user accounts, permissions, and group policies
  • Support remote users and mobile devices

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Incident Management experience (should be around 3-5 years of experience)
  • Experience monitoring applications, working on bridges to resolve technical breakdowns within the NOC

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $30-$33 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
