We have Professional Engineers (PE), Structural Engineers (SE) and Architects that are licensed nationwide. In addition, we have Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), and Registered Building Envelope Consultant (RBEC) certified personnel on staff. These certifications are achieved through IIBEC, The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants Roofing

Job Details

We are seeking a Forensic Structural Engineer (PE) with recent forensic investigation and structural design experience to be responsible for working with a multidisciplinary team. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be familiar and capable of performing forensic investigations on commercial and residential structures.
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications on structural projects.
• Conduct site visits and assists with roofing, building envelope, moisture, and structural inspections.
• Work well with others, but also be independently motivated.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar program from an accredited school.
• At least 5 years' experience in building-related forensic inspections.
• A Minnesota PE license.
• Strong communication skills to support client relationships.
• Goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of commercial and industrial building materials, systems, and assemblies.
• Ability to work with architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, insurance professionals, and property managers.
