Summary

Role Summary

Drive the end-to-end design, setup, and deployment of Simphony Inventory solutions across multi-location restaurant environments within an Agile program. This role supports the implementation of Oracle MICROS Simphony, Oracle Retail, and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, ensuring precise ingredient-level inventory tracking, accurate recipe costing, efficient kitchen workflows, and clear visibility into cost of goods sold (COGS).


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the Simphony Inventory workstream, including roadmap planning, backlog management, story elaboration, sprint delivery, and deployment readiness.
  • Design and enhance back-of-house (BOH) operations such as ingredient tracking, recipe and menu costing, yield optimization, food preparation, receiving processes, stock counts, and waste management.
  • Gather and translate business needs from culinary and operations teams into actionable user stories and system configurations.
  • Manage and coordinate integrations between Simphony, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, and reporting/analytics platforms.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing phases, and phased rollouts (pilot and large-scale deployments) across restaurant locations.
  • Ensure accuracy of recipe costing, ingredient yields, and cost rollups throughout testing and deployment stages.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Culinary, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support implementation, user training, and adoption.
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and reduce variances in inventory and costing workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in restaurant or QSR technology, including POS, inventory, and recipe/menu management systems.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Simphony Inventory, particularly in recipe costing and ingredient-level tracking.
  • some experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.
  • Working knowledge in POS platforms with ERP and financial systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering solutions across multi-unit restaurant environments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle Retail platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, COGS management, yield optimization, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience with integration tools and middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
