Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Android Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android application development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance native Android applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in mobile architecture, API integrations, offline data management, application performance optimization, and automated testing.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Build modern, responsive mobile user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and Material Design principles.
• Implement scalable application architectures using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Work extensively with Android Jetpack components, including ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, third-party SDKs, and authentication mechanisms.
• Develop efficient offline-first capabilities, local caching, and data synchronization strategies.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following Android development best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests and UI automation tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Identify and resolve application crashes, memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Implement mobile application security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices.
• Support Android application builds, CI/CD pipelines, and Google Play Store releases.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with extensive hands-on Android development expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and native Android application development.
• Hands-on experience developing modern Android UI applications using Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android design patterns.
• Experience with Android SDK and Jetpack libraries, including ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.
• Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, authentication, and third-party SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of offline data storage, caching strategies, and data synchronization.
• Experience writing unit tests, UI tests, and debugging complex Android applications.
• Expertise in performance profiling, memory management, crash analysis, and application optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Android application deployment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
