Job Description:

REQUIRED SKILLS

3-5 Must Haves (need to be highlighted in sizzle & present on resume)

Proven Software Applciation Architecture experience
Strong experience with modernization projects within the .Net/Azure Space
Mobile application experience ideally with Maui experience
Must be a highly technical Architect

Here are some details:

Domain Architect for a key internal application ecosystem

Undergoing modernization on both the back (.NET -> refactoring and moving to Azure) and front-end (Xamarin -> refactoring and moving to MAUI)
Huge amounts of tech debt to overcome based on the legacy nature

What a great candidate looks like

Proven track record of System modernization - namely within the .NET / Azure space

They have a very strong Mobile App lead they can pair with, but if they have MAUI experience - all the better

Top tier critical thinking skills and ability to turn ambiguity into clarity / actionable plans

This space is historic spaghetti with many partners… they need someone who thrives on driving clarity and action

Passion to modernize while staying pragmatic about Business needs

Would love to say “no new features until all modernization is done” but that’s not possible based on the large programs above… this person will need to balance that out
Also do not want someone who will just take the path of least resistance and “get it done to get it done” without a thoughtful approach to how it will be done correctly either now or in the future
