Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data quality, security, and governance.
  • Strong experience in dimensional data modeling (star and snowflake schemas).
  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, Tableau, or Python for reporting and visualization.
  • Experience integrating data from on-premises and cloud-based sources.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with APIs for data extraction and integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Experience:

  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience performing migrations across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and large datasets.
  • Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance and scalability.
  • Create dimensional models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and completeness.
  • Manage data lakes and warehouses with proper governance and security controls.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Build predictive and descriptive models using statistical methods and programming languages.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and automate deployments.
  • Present insights and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Should Have:

  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Synapse, Informatica, Talend, DBT, or Airbyte.
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools and platforms such as Databricks.
  • Experience in large-scale or government environments.

  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Programming (Python, R, SQL).
