Job DetailsCore Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain case files, manage critical deadlines, and maintain case management systems and databases
- Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, memoranda, motions, and subpoenas
- Support electronic discovery processes including document collection, review, production, and quality control
- Coordinate with clients and witnesses; prepare witnesses for depositions and trial; liaison with opposing counsel and retained experts
- Organize trial materials, prepare trial binders and exhibit packages, and assist during trial proceedings
- Conduct legal research supporting attorney arguments and develop factual records
- Manage special projects and assist other practice areas with litigation-related needs as needed
- Track and monitor case deadlines and court filing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of paralegal experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with electronic discovery platforms and document management
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Professional interpersonal skills with colleagues and external clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with litigation-specific case management software
- Familiarity with e-discovery best practices and document review protocols
- Trial or deposition preparation experience
