Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic Applications Analyst III to support the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to enhance system performance, improve user experience, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
Lead Epic implementation and optimization projects.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Epic applications.
Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and change management initiatives.
Develop dashboards, reports, and data extracts to support operational and clinical reporting.
Deliver end-user training and maintain technical documentation.
Serve as the escalation point for complex Epic application issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and system performance.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare industry standards.
Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of EHR experience, including Epic configuration and support.
Multiple Epic certifications required before the start date.
Strong experience with Epic application configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of Epic EHR experience.
PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or CHTS certification.
Experience with healthcare reporting, system optimization, and workflow improvements.
