Job Title: Mulesoft Developer

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Develop scalable and reusable APIs following API-led Connectivity architecture.
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
Create integration flows using Mule 4, DataWeave, and Mule components.
Develop integrations between core banking systems, third-party applications, and cloud platforms.
Configure and manage API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and CloudHub.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, Basic Authentication, and API policies.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 production support.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
Develop reusable connectors, error handling frameworks, and logging mechanisms.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and deployment guides.
Support CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of IT experience with 4+ years of MuleSoft development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Experience developing APIs using Mule 4.
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and DataWeave.
Experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, and Exchange.
Experience implementing API security and integration best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
