Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide reliable technical assistance and keep end-user systems operating smoothly in San Antonio, Texas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day technology issues, supporting employees with practical guidance, and contributing to a stable IT environment. The role will involve hands-on desktop support, clear documentation, and participation in technical initiatives that improve system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

Resolve hardware, software, and workstation issues by identifying root causes and restoring functionality in a timely manner.

Guide employees on the effective use of business applications, devices, and standard technology tools, including support for onboarding activities.

Maintain accurate service records by documenting incidents, resolutions, access updates, and recurring issues in ticketing systems and knowledge resources.

Contribute to IT initiatives such as device rollouts, software validation, data recovery efforts, and product migration activities.

Prepare, configure, back up, and update computer systems to support business operations and user readiness.

Apply established IT policies and procedures when making changes to systems, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Support account and access-related tasks within Active Directory and related enterprise environments.

Monitor and respond to service desk tickets while communicating progress and next steps clearly to users.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot desktop, operating system, and basic technical issues in a support environment with careful attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10, and familiarity with standard desktop support practices.
Experience handling service desk tickets and documenting technical work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Comfortable using tablets and standard productivity tools, including Microsoft applications, Adobe, DocuSign, and cloud-based platforms.
Familiarity with Active Directory and user access support processes.
Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a consistent approach to following documented procedures.
Exposure to healthcare or oncology-focused software solutions is preferred.
