OverviewAs a
Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in the Consumer Marketing organization, you will help to shape the next generation of Data and AI driven Martech Infrastructure. In this role, you will bring a keen eye to secure, scalable, and extensible solutions. As a senior individual contributor you will design, validate, and guide the foundational capabilities that power AI agents, real-time personalization, data governance and cloud orchestration across our marketing tools and platforms. You will also partner closely with analytics, data engineering, marketing operations, and privacy teams in this role.

ResponsibilitiesArchitect secure, scalable solutions across the consumer marketing platforms that support data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution services, and governed data layers required for activation and analytics.
- Lead Architectural Design Sessions (ADS) to align cloud architecture with Consumer Marketing's data model, taxonomy, consent requirements, and AI-driven personalization needs.
- Modernize our Consumer Data Platform (CDP) architecture and enable AI-ready data infrastructure
- Implement cloud patterns that support ML scoring, journey analytics, and activation across channels by establishing reusable, output-agnostic data and identity layers.
- Ensure your deliverables meet "well architected" standards for performance, maintainability, security, scale, and reliability.
Partner with Data Architects and Data Engineers to define scalable schemas, event taxonomies, and data layers needed for analytics, AI, experimentation, and privacy centric activation.
- Drive the implementation of an identity resolution layer (deterministic + probabilistic), enabling persistent stitched profiles and automated activation across marketing channels.
- Architect compliance-by-design data flows that meet privacy, legal, and consent handling requirements centrally.
- Support modernization efforts to deliver real-time audiences, MLbased personalization, and unified governance.
Articulate how Azure, CDP modernization, and identity services accelerate campaign speed, personalization maturity, and AI readiness through best-in-class documentation.
- Translate business objectives into architectural pathways-across journey orchestration, predictive scoring, next best action models, and personalized content delivery.
- Identify AI and analytics opportunities unlocked by improved CDP architecture and platform connections (real-time journeys, multitouch attribution, automated experimentation).

QualificationsRequired/minimum qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, data platform engineering, or complex technical deployments.
- Proven experience designing distributed data systems, analytics infrastructure, or identity-centric architectures.
- Background supporting marketing, experimentation, or journey orchestration platforms (email, in-product, web personalization).
- Hands-on familiarity with:
- Azure Synapse, Foundry, Event Hub, Cosmos, etc.
- Headless CMS, DAM and Adobe platforms
- Identity resolution frameworks, CDP architecture patterns, and consent governance.
Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
