Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives involving the implementation and migration to SAP S/4HANA. The role requires a strategic leader with a strong delivery mindset who can design and execute a comprehensive implementation plan, build and lead high-performing teams, and drive the program through all phases of the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering full-scale S/4HANA implementations, including RISE migration programs, while ensuring alignment with modern architecture standards such as Clean Core and leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
This position involves significant client interaction, particularly within public sector environments, and requires a confident leader capable of making executive decisions, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery against defined milestones and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation programs for SAP S/4HANA including planning, execution, and delivery.
Define and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
Drive RISE with SAP migration strategies and oversee system transformation initiatives.
Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional delivery teams including functional, technical, and integration specialists.
Manage stakeholder communication across executive leadership, business users, and IT teams.
Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles and leverage SAP Business Technology Platform for extensibility and integration.
Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate activities across multiple functional areas including finance, procurement, supply chain, and HR modules.
Ensure quality assurance, governance, and compliance standards are maintained throughout the implementation.
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and present project progress updates.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience managing large-scale SAP transformation programs.
Demonstrated success delivering full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
Experience working with public sector clients or government organizations.
Hands-on knowledge of RISE with SAP migration frameworks.
Strong expertise in Clean Core architecture and SAP best practices.
Certification or strong working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
