IT Security Manager

This role is focused on managing and implementing IT security solutions, including identity access management using tools like Okta, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The person in this position will lead initiatives to enhance the security posture of the organization, collaborating closely with various teams to implement technologies such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO). This hands-on managerial role is vital for maintaining robust access controls and supporting audit and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement information technology security solutions, focusing on identity access management using Okta.
• Oversee daily security operations, ensuring the organization''s security posture is maintained and enhanced.
• Engage in compliance efforts with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, supporting audit initiatives.
• Implement and manage security technologies including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
• Ensure proper access controls and role-based security across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields of study, or an additional 4 years of experience.
• 10 or more years of experience in application security, cyber security, access management, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with identity access management tools, specifically Okta.
• Experience with security technologies such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
• Understanding of SOX controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and financial application security.
