Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead – Cyber & Infrastructure to lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of cybersecurity, infrastructure, network, cloud, and Operational Technology (OT) testing activities across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, firewalls, servers, and utility technology environments.

The Test Lead will validate the security, availability, resiliency, performance, and operational readiness of critical IT and OT infrastructure while working closely with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Network Engineering, Architecture, Project Delivery, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute test strategies for infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, cloud, and OT initiatives.

• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), infrastructure validation, security testing, performance testing, and operational readiness testing.

• Define test scope, schedules, resource requirements, and entry/exit criteria.

• Coordinate testing across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Report testing status, defects, risks, readiness, and go/no-go recommendations.

Cybersecurity Testing

• Lead vulnerability assessments and security validation testing.

• Coordinate penetration testing activities.

• Validate firewall rules, IAM controls, network segmentation, and security monitoring.

• Support incident response exercises and disaster recovery testing.

• Validate cybersecurity controls against organizational policies and standards.

Infrastructure Testing

• Lead testing across firewalls, routers, switches, wired/wireless networks, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud services.

• Validate infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, network migrations, and technology transformation initiatives.

• Verify high availability, redundancy, failover, backup, recovery, and infrastructure resiliency.

Utility & Operational Technology (OT)

• Support testing across field communication networks, metering solutions, GIS integrations, control systems, energy management systems, and utility operational platforms.

• Evaluate cybersecurity controls protecting critical utility assets.

• Validate secure integration between IT and OT environments.

Network & Connectivity Testing

• Test wired and wireless networks, VLAN segmentation, routing and switching, VPN, remote access, and network resiliency.

• Validate bandwidth, network performance, endpoint connectivity, DHCP, network equipment, and operational readiness.

Test Management & Governance

• Develop test plans, test scenarios, scripts, and execution reports.

• Manage the complete defect lifecycle from identification through remediation and closure.
