Qlik Sense Developer - Remote Role

Role: Qlik Sense Developer

Location: Remote (Candidate should be local to or 70 miles from Chicago, IL)

Duration: 12+ Months

Must have:

• Qlik Sense / QlikView development
• Qlik Sense scripting (load scripts) Data modeling and transformations Set analysis and complex expressions Solid understanding of BI concepts (KPIs, metrics, drill downs, filters) SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) Exposure to Qlik SaaS / Qlik Cloud Knowledge of data engineering pipelines (ADF, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
• BI Tools: Qlik Sense, QlikView Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL Cloud (Preferred): Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform Methodology: Agile / Scrum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Sense Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing interactive dashboards and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Qlik Sense/QlikView development, data modeling, scripting, and performance optimization, along with solid SQL knowledge. Experience in enterprise or healthcare analytics environments is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and applications.
• Write and optimize Qlik Sense load scripts for efficient data ingestion.
• Perform data modeling, transformations, and associations.
• Develop set analysis, complex expressions, KPIs, metrics, drill-downs, and filters.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of Qlik applications.
• Implement security, roles, and access control within Qlik Sense.
• Troubleshoot data and performance issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and scripts.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Qlik Sense / QlikView development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Qlik Sense scripting (load scripts)
• Data modeling and transformations
• Set analysis and complex expressions
• Solid understanding of BI concepts (KPIs, metrics, drill-downs, filters).
• Experience working with SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques in Qlik.

Experience with security, roles, and access control in Qlik Sense.
