Role Overview

We are seeking a C++ Developer with strong Murex Flex experience to join our Front Office Equities Derivatives (EQD) Technology team. This role sits at the intersection of Trading, Quantitative Modeling, and Technology, with a primary focus on integrating proprietary Quant libraries into Murex using the Flex framework and APIs.

The developer will work closely with Quants and Front Office Technology teams to industrialize pricing models, risk calculations, and analytics within the Murex platform, ensuring accuracy, performance, and production stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Murex Flex components using C++
  • Integrate proprietary Quant libraries and models into Murex via Flex APIs
  • Collaborate closely with Quant teams to understand assumptions, and implementation requirements
  • Ensure seamless interaction between Murex core, Flex extensions, and external Quant libraries
  • Participate in UAT cycles, model validation support, and production releases
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues related to Flex, pricing, or model integration
  • Contribute to code quality, performance optimization, and platform stability
  • Work with QA, support, and business users to ensure correct functional behavior

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong handson C++ development experience
  • Proven experience working with Murex Flex (Flex libraries, APIs, integration patterns)
  • Experience integrating Quant or pricing libraries into a trading or risk platform
  • Ability to work closely with Quants and translate concepts into robust C++ implementations
  • Strong debugging skills in Linux/Unix environments
  • Experience supporting UAT and production environments

Preferred / NicetoHave

  • Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives
  • Understanding of pricing models, Greeks, sensitivities, and risk calculations
  • Exposure to Python (for prototyping, tooling, or Quant collaboration)
  • Familiarity with performancesensitive or numerically intensive systems

Interaction Model

  • Daily collaboration with Quant teams on model integration and enhancements
  • Regular interaction with Front Office Technology teams
  • Close coordination with QA, Release, and Production Support teams

Seniority Level

Flexible depending on experience:

  • Midlevel: Strong Flex + C++ contributor
  • Senior: Owns Flex components, mentors others, drives design decisions

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
