Senior Data Integrity Analyst (Hybrid)Starting Salary Range: $73,000-$85,000
The State Corporation Commission (SCC) seeks a Senior Data Integrity Analyst to join the Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) division. The Health Benefit Exchange operates Virginia's Insurance Marketplace with a mission to increase access to affordable and reliable health coverage for Virginians who are not insured by their employer, Medicaid, or Medicare. Launched in November 2023, the Marketplace is Virginia's own state-based health insurance marketplace where consumers can shop for, compare, and purchase health insurance plans. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior Data Integrity Analyst leads advanced operational data integrity and reconciliation work across the Exchange systems and with partners such as vendor-managed environments, insurance carriers, Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Execute recurring reconciliation cycles across Health Benefit Exchange systems, data sources, and external partners, ensuring full end-to-end discrepancy resolution
- Analyze data to identify multi-system discrepancies and integrity issues utilizing dashboards and analytical tools
- Conduct root-cause analysis to determine the source and impact of discrepancies
- Lead identification and resolution efforts with internal teams (IT Operations, Quality Assurance, Policy, Finance, Consumer & Stakeholder Experience, and Data Analytics) and external partners (insurance carriers, CMS, other state agencies, call center and vendor partners)
- Track, manage, and submit official responses to federal data integrity and reconciliation requests and programs
- Create and document processes and procedures for data integrity and reconciliation activities
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of data integrity and reconciliation activities
- Produce and present reports on resolution progress and trends to division leadership
- Support audit readiness and internal controls
- Implement established policy guidance
- Perform other related work as required
