Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced QA/Test Manager to lead quality assurance efforts for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation. The QA Lead will oversee test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, data migration validation, ETL testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support while collaborating with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy, planning, execution, and governance for the EHR implementation.
- Manage functional, integration, regression, ETL, data migration, interface, and UAT testing.
- Validate legacy-to-EHR data conversion, ensuring data integrity and reconciliation.
- Coordinate testing of SaaS configuration changes, vendor releases, and system interfaces.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidence.
- Track defects and testing metrics using Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira.
- Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and business/clinical stakeholders.
- Provide QA status reporting, risk assessments, and release readiness updates.
Required Qualifications
- 11+ years of QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager experience.
- 11+ years of experience in data validation, ETL, and data migration testing.
- Extensive experience testing EHR/Healthcare SaaS applications, including clinical, scheduling, pharmacy, billing, and documentation modules.
- Experience validating data migration from legacy healthcare systems.
- Strong experience with interface testing, end-to-end workflow validation, and vendor coordination.
- Expertise in test planning, defect management, and test management tools (Azure DevOps, ALM, Jira).
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR implementations in clinical, pharmacy, and billing environments.
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD/A, ICD, and CPT standards.
- Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience supporting state government or public sector healthcare projects.
