Location: Arlington, VA

Basic Details

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
Travel Requirement: Up to 50%

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities, including:

Utility infrastructure
Life safety systems
Electrical power systems
Low voltage systems
Building/facility systems and components
Facility Operations & Maintenance (O&M)

Mission Critical experience is a plus
Working knowledge of:

NFPA standards
NETA standards
NICET electrical testing and code requirements

Key Responsibilities

Participate in both onsite and office-based commissioning activities
Lead and perform commissioning tasks, including:

QA/QC testing
Functional performance testing
Equipment and systems start-up

Ensure delivery of safe, functional environments that meet:

Design requirements
Stakeholder expectations

Support various project types:

Commissioning
Retro-commissioning
Re-commissioning

Collaborate directly with:

Clients
Project stakeholders
Contractors

Drive outcomes focused on:

Operational performance
Efficiency improvements
