AI Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, applied AI Engineer to support the ongoing operation, modernization, and extension of AI-enabled applications. This role operates within an AI-assisted software development environment, where you will use modern coding assistants as a primary tool to write, review, and debug production code.

• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must work within Eastern Time Zone business hours)

Key Requirements & Skills

Primary Technical Skills (Required)

• Python Development: 3+ years of experience writing clean application logic and building Web APIs within modern frameworks (like FastAPI).
• LLM Integration: 2+ years of experience building production applications powered by Large Language Models (Gemini, Claude, GPT).
• Model Evaluation: 2+ years of experience comparing and selecting AI models (e.g., performing A/B testing on model tasks).

Cloud & DevOps (Highly Desired)

• Microsoft Azure: 2+ years deploying and maintaining cloud services (App Service, Storage, Key Vault).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git-based source control and structured pull-request workflows.

Core Competencies

• Data Security: Experience implementing secure development practices and handling highly confidential or regulated data.
• AI Productivity: High comfort level directing AI coding assistants, validating their output, and shipping reliable code.
• Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with centralized AI teams and stakeholders.

• Maintain, enhance, and extend existing AI applications and data flows.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor services in cloud environments.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical production code.
• Document system processes, workflows, and technical procedures.
