RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT solutions to integrate data from multiple source systems
- Develop scalable and high-performance data pipelines for batch and near real-time data processing
- Build and maintain data integration workflows using modern ETL tools and cloud-based data platforms
- Analyze source systems and business requirements to create efficient data mapping, transformation, and validation rules
- Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot data processing issues, and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with data architects, database administrators, business analysts, and application teams to deliver reliable data solutions
- Develop and maintain data warehouses, operational data stores, and reporting data marts
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and exception handling frameworks
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and organizational standards
REQUIREMENTS - U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field; four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing
- Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, AWS Glue, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Experience designing complex data transformation, data migration, and integration solutions
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas
- Experience working with cloud-based data services and modern data platforms
- Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and metadata management best practices
- Experience with performance tuning, error handling, and troubleshooting large-scale ETL processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments and collaborate across technical and business teams
