Title: .NET Developer

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

·        We are searching for a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain C# program code for our future and ongoing projects. You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.

·        The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server.

·        Candidates must describe experience with large menu driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications.

·        The candidate will be knowledgeable in transferring data between application screens, selecting and scrolling through large amounts of data, add/update/delete order-entry type of transactions, and building new screens and reports.

·        We do not use API''''''''s.

·        To ensure success as a C# developer you must have an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework, prolific coding abilities, and be able to problem-solve on a daily basis.

·        A top-quality C# developer will be able to handle the creation, maintenance, and further development of .NET applications and programs

C# Developer Responsibilities:

·        Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.

·        Creating in-house applications using the.NET framework.

·        Debugging and maintaining written code (no API''''''''s).

·        Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.

·        Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.

·        Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.

·        Working in a project team alongside other developers.

·        Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.

·        Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.

·        Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

C# Developer Requirements:

·        C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher)

·        Angular (gRPC would be a plus)

·        SQL Server

·        Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code

·        Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.

·        A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.

·        Knowledge of other coding-languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) would be a plus.

·        Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary.
