Job Title: Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering is required.

  • 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience; internship experience may be considered toward total experience.

  • Must have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing and/or machining environment.


Required Skills

  • Strong ability to create engineering sketches, drawings, layouts, and common engineering calculations.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematic diagrams, specifications, and computer-generated engineering reports.

  • Hands-on experience with engineering software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining operations, process troubleshooting, and process validation.

  • Experience supporting production efficiency, workflow optimization, machine utilization, and manufacturing process improvement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate manufacturing data and identify deviations from established standards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, collaborative team player with strong critical-thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities.


Job Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering principles and methodologies to improve industrial layouts, manufacturing processes, production operations, and overall efficiency.

  • Perform time, motion, method, and speed studies for production, maintenance, and manufacturing operations to establish standard production rates and improve operational efficiency.

  • Analyze worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, workflow, and anticipated delays to support effective work planning and resource utilization.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and formulas and collaborate with engineering, quality, and management teams to establish quality and reliability standards.

  • Review worker logs, product processing sheets, specification sheets, and manufacturing records to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements.

  • Prepare charts, graphs, diagrams, workflow maps, routing layouts, floor layouts, material-handling plans, and machine-utilization reports.

  • Observe production and machining operations to ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to established quality and manufacturing standards.

  • Conduct time studies and evaluate operator activities, equipment usage, cycle times, and fatigue factors to identify opportunities for productivity improvement.

  • Analyze manufacturing and operational data and prepare reports identifying deviations from existing standards and recommending corrective actions.

  • Support daily manufacturing operations through process troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process validation, and production support.

  • Work closely with Quality Engineers and Production Engineers to validate new manufacturing processes, prototypes, process changes, and PCN activities.

  • Participate in prototype design, testing, manufacturing process analysis, and validation activities.

  • Support troubleshooting and validation of manufacturing processes on the shop floor and in laboratory environments.


Work Environment

  • 70% Shop Floor / Lab: Manufacturing operations support, process troubleshooting, prototype testing, process improvement, and validation.

  • 30% Office: PCN testing reports, engineering documentation, prototype design, data analysis, and manufacturing process analysis.
