Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building robust data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and advanced data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Develop and optimize data models and data warehouses.

• Work with large datasets from multiple structured and unstructured sources.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting of data workflows.

• Support data migrations and cloud-based data initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Airflow, SSIS, etc.).

• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Understanding of data governance and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).

• Familiarity with streaming tools (Kafka).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Background in finance, healthcare, telecom, or government projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
