Volt is immediately hiring for Electronic Test Technician in MCKINNEY, TX
The Electronic Test Technician is responsible for executing testing operations for electronic modules and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) within a controlled laboratory or production test environment. This role requires accurate logging, test execution, and documentation using CMES and designated automated or manual test equipment.
What You Will Do
Access authorized test areas and operate designated program test-set computers.
Log components into CMES and perform testing in accordance with prescribed CMMPI procedures.
Conduct NGJ?specific testing, including pressure testing TRIMMS and RF Collectors, and performing manual probe tests on Stations 3 and 6.
Support GEN5, HTM4, and TEAL programs by operating and monitoring robotic test sets.
Accurately record Pass/Fail dispositions and document results within CMES.
Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and procedural standards.
This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Required:
Experience in electronic testing or related technical environments preferred.
Proficiency with CMES strongly preferred.
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, compressed, or hybrid schedules.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Bachelor s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capability to handle and manipulate delicate electronic components.
Comfortable working in a laboratory or test?production environment.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
