Job Description

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, this California position might be what you are looking for!


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
  • Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed


Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited PTA program
  • Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
  • CA PTA licensure/certification
  • First Aid Certifications (BLS) are strongly recommended
  • Ability to work effectively in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
  • Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills


Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care

  • Pay: $1,767.02 - $1,821.67 / week
  • Location: Santa Rosa, CA
