Job Title: Integration / Interoperability Solution Architect

Location: Remote (USA)

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Roles & Responsibilities (Integration / Interoperability Solution Architect)

•     Lead end-to-end healthcare integration architecture design across payer, provider, and partner ecosystems.

•      Design scalable interoperability solutions using HL7, FHIR, X12, CCDA, and EDI standards.

•      Build and maintain integration architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, and technical design documents.

•      Design and support FHIR-based REST APIs and healthcare data exchange services.

•      Configure, develop, and troubleshoot interfaces using Mirth Connect / NextGen Mirth Connect.

•       Work with key healthcare transactions such as X12 278 (Utilization Management) and 834 (Enrollment).

•      Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and external partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.

•      Provide architectural governance, review designs, and ensure adherence to integration standards.

•      Support production environments, including monitoring, debugging, and resolving interface failures.

•      Optimize integration performance, identify risks, and improve data exchange workflows.

•       Work in Agile environments and participate in estimation, planning, and solution reviews.

•        Leverage Azure cloud and AI/GenAI tools for modern integration enhancements.

•      Healthcare Integration Standards (5+ years): HL7, FHIR, X12 (278, 834), CCDA, EDI

•      Mirth Connect / NextGen Mirth Connect (3–5 years): Interface development, configuration, troubleshooting

•       Healthcare Payer Domain Experience (5+ years): Enrollment, eligibility, utilization management workflows

•        Integration Architecture / Solution Design (3–5 years): End-to-end architecture, APIs, system design, documentation

•        API, SQL & Production Support (4+ years): REST APIs, SQL troubleshooting, monitoring and incident resolution
