We are looking for a high-caliber Sr. Automation Engineer to spearhead data validation and automation for our large-scale Cloud DWH migration and modernization initiatives. This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on technical execution, focusing on ensuring data integrity across complex, multi-cloud enterprise platforms.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership: Define comprehensive test strategies and lead end-to-end execution (Functional, API, Data Validation) across onshore/offshore teams and multi-app business processes.
Automation Engineering: Build robust automation utilities and frameworks using Python (PyTest) and Postman, fully integrated into CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
Data Validation: Perform complex data profiling and integration testing using advanced SQL and stored procedures.
Cross-Platform Testing: Validate seamless data flow across Cloud DWH (Snowflake/Databricks), NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming services like Kafka.

Expertise: Deep experience in Python-based automation and API testing.
Data Stack: Proven track record with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, plus Informatica tools (IDMC, DVO).
Modern Infrastructure: Proficiency with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and messaging queues (Kafka/SQS).
Agility: Ability to lead in fast-paced Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments.

- Define and drive a comprehensive test strategy, develop detailed test plans, and lead execution across functional, integration, data validation, API, and automation testing.
qualifications:
Strong Data and Automation expertise to support large?scale Data Warehouse (DWH) cloud migration and Modernization initiatives across complex enterprise platforms.
Bring deep hands-on expertise in Python, API automation, and modern data engineering testing practices, including building automation utilities using PyTest, Postman/Newman, or similar frameworks, and integrating them within CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitOps?based automation.
Have strong working knowledge of cloud and data platforms such as relational DB ( Informatica Cloud IDMC, DVO, CDV, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift) and NoSQL DB like Cassandra, MongoDB
Possess additional experience in real?time data streaming, messaging queues like Kafka, SQS etc. and ability to test/automate these cases
Strong working knowledge of building complex SQL queries and stored procedures for validations, data profiling, and complex data integration validations.
Demonstrate strong coordination and leadership skills, including leading Business Process Testing (BPT) with multiple upstream and downstream application teams at an enterprise scale, as well as managing onshore/offshore QE teams.
Be comfortable operating in fast?paced, multi?modal delivery environments (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), ensuring consistent, high?quality delivery across data, integration, and business workflows.
