Job Summary:

Designs, develops, configures, and sustains enterprise Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online solutions supporting the NGB Knowledge Management Program. The Architect translates KM requirements, including taxonomy, metadata, knowledge lifecycle, information architecture, governance, and knowledge-flow requirements, into scalable technical solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 architectures and solutions.
  • Configure SharePoint sites, site collections, lists, libraries, permissions, content types, metadata, and taxonomy.
  • Support KM solutions within Army NIPR and SIPR Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Translate KM and business requirements into scalable technical SharePoint solutions.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise information architectures and repository structures.
  • Support Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, workflow automation, and solution integration.
  • Conduct SharePoint site, repository, architecture, and governance assessments.
  • Support content lifecycle management, naming conventions, metadata compliance, and knowledge discoverability.
  • Develop technical documentation, governance artifacts, standards, and solution documentation.
  • Monitor solution performance, usage, repository health, metadata compliance, and adoption.
  • Coordinate with KM Analysts, Government stakeholders, records management, data management, IT, and cybersecurity organizations.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience designing, building, and sustaining enterprise SharePoint 365 solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Online architecture, enterprise site structures, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, metadata/taxonomy, content types, workflow automation, solution prototyping, testing, and development.
  • Experience supporting secure configurations across NIPR/SIPR environments.
  • Ability to translate KM requirements and governance standards into technical solutions.
  • Foundational understanding of Knowledge Management principles, information governance, content lifecycle management, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Appropriate DoD 8140/8570 certification when assigned duties constitute IA/IT functions.
  • Advanced SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 architecture skills.
  • Strong solution design and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and governance.
  • Ability to document and present technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting DoD or National Guard Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience with enterprise SharePoint governance, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.

Security Clearance:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Travel Required : Limited local travel may be required in support of NGB meetings, training, or other contract requirements.

The salary range listed represents the minimum and maximum compensation Nemean Solutions, LLC, in good faith, believes it may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, qualifications, contract requirements, and other job-related factors.

Salary Description

$165,000 - $185,000
