Citrix Engineer

Must Have

• Strong, hands-on Citrix experience (significant & direct)

• VDI architecture and enterprise infrastructure experience

• Horizon / Omnissa VDI

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Citrix environments, virtualization technologies, and enterprise systems architecture. You will lead infrastructure lifecycle initiatives, drive architectural improvements, and provide advanced (Tier 3) support across global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available enterprise infrastructure environments

• Lead lifecycle management, capacity planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives

• Architect and support Citrix-based VDI and remote access solutions

• Provide Tier 3 support for VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix, and virtualization platforms

• Drive infrastructure standardization, resiliency, and performance optimization

• Design and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across environments

• Collaborate with global IT teams and provide technical leadership

• Evaluate infrastructure vendors and review technical deliverables

Required:

• 8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience

• 4+ years designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions

• Strong experience with:

  • Citrix environments (mandatory)

  • Windows Server ecosystems

  • Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix)

  • VPN technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, IPSec, OpenVPN)

  • Enterprise networking (OSI layers, TCP/IP)

• Experience managing complex enterprise environments and Tier 3 escalations
