Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mobile Automation Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership, insights on Mobile Architecture, and software development skills. This role involves leading, designing, and developing automated solutions including unit, functional, UI, and performance testing to guarantee software quality across a wide range of mobile devices and tablets. The hybrid schedule requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java and Appium
- Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
- Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
- Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to uncover issues during the development phase
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) or Manual QA
- Must have experience with Java, Shell Scripting, and Mobile Test Automation with Appium
- Experience with Selenium Test NG
- Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
- Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket)
- Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment
- Required to use Co-Pilot
Desired skills: - Experience with continuous integration and Unit tests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
