Pay: $50/hr to $60/hrOverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Unified Communications (UC) Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-site UC and collaboration projects for enterprise and public-sector customers. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end project execution across voice, video, contact center, and collaboration platforms while ensuring exceptional customer experience and alignment with service delivery framework.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing UC deployments within an MSP environment, excels at cross-functional coordination, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery- Own full lifecycle management of UC projects, including kickoff, planning, execution, testing, and closeout.
- Manage deployments across technologies such as Cisco UC, Microsoft Teams Voice, Zoom, Webex, and contact center platforms.
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, field technicians, provisioning, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Customer Engagement- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead customer meetings, status updates, and executive-level communications.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable technical and operational tasks.
- Manage customer expectations, scope, and change requests.
Operational Excellence- Ensure projects adhere to PMO processes, documentation standards, and governance.
- Track project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and margin protection.
- Identify risks and issues early, driving mitigation strategies and escalation when needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including SOW alignment, change orders, and acceptance criteria.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner closely with UC engineers, solution architects, service delivery managers, and account teams.
- Coordinate with NOC, SOC, logistics, and provisioning teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Support handoff to Managed Services for ongoing support after project completion.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of project management experience within an MSP, VAR, or UC-focused technology integrator.
- Strong understanding of UC technologies such as:
- Cisco Collaboration (CUCM, Unity, Webex)
- Microsoft Teams Voice / Direct Routing
- Contact Center platforms (Cisco UCCX/UCCE, Webex Contact Center, NICE, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SOWs, change orders, and project financials.
