SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Program Manager to oversee and drive execution of key IAM initiatives across the enterprise. This role will coordinate strategic and operational activities, manage cross-functional teams and vendors, support steering committees, and ensure programs are delivered efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically conversant in IAM concepts, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project Leadership- Serve as the primary program manager supporting IAM leadership across multiple initiatives and workstreams.
- Manage program structures, schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables for enterprise IAM programs.
- Lead steering committees, governance forums, and executive updates; track action items and ensure decisions are executed.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management- Coordinate with internal staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams (Corporate IT, OT, Europe, etc.) to ensure program alignment and progress.
- Maintain program roadmaps, dashboards, and reporting for leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and follow-through.
Initiative Management- Manage high-priority IAM initiatives such as Optimus (access control for power generation sites) and passwordless adoption programs.
- Support workstreams across identity governance, access management, privileged access, directory services, and authentication.
- Track and manage progress across fragmented IAM responsibilities and distributed ownership teams.
Technical Oversight (Non-Hands-On)- Maintain a strong high-level understanding of IAM technologies, frameworks, and concepts to ask the right questions and guide program direction.
- Support solutioning discussions in partnership with architects and engineers, while remaining focused on program delivery rather than implementation.
Skills & ExperienceRequired- Strong experience managing programs or large-scale projects within IAM, cybersecurity, or IT security environments.
- Familiarity with IAM platforms and concepts such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Entra ID, RBAC, ABAC, privileged access, and identity governance.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple simultaneous priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Experience working with and coordinating vendor partners and cross-functional internal teams.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and facilitate decision-making.
Preferred- Experience supporting both corporate IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Prior involvement in global or multi-regional IAM programs.
- Experience running steering committees or executive-level governance structures.
Environment & Context- Works closely with IAM leadership (Cameron Buck) to run strategic and operational elements of the IAM program.
- Operates across a fragmented ownership model spanning Corporate IT, SIP, OT teams, directory services, and authentication groups.
- Remote-first role with preference for Eastern Time Zone; occasional on-site presence may be needed.
- High-visibility position supporting mission-critical identity initiatives across the enterprise.
