A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Product Manager (Spread).
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire;
Location: Charlotte, NC / New York NY – 3 days hybrid on-site role

As a Product Manager, you will:

Day?to?Day Responsibilities:

Manage global delivery and enhancements for FLOD surveillance and transaction monitoring platforms.
Lead the buildout and global rollout of an Equity and Credit/Spread trade surveillance framework designed to detect and prevent market abuse and manipulation.
Oversee front?line surveillance platforms including model design, controls architecture, calibration cycles, and quality assurance processes.
Partner closely with Front Office, Technology, BA/Implementation teams, and Data groups to implement system controls, ensure data readiness, and improve monitoring workflows.
Design and enhance next?generation surveillance models, reduce false positives, and ensure all model governance documentation meets regulatory standards.
Deliver Market Integrity and Surveillance training to BAU monitoring teams, supervisors, and leadership across Sales & Trading.
Serve as an SME advising leadership on Credit, Spread, and Equities surveillance, supporting large?scale, cross?organizational platform transformation.
Calibrate, back?test, and document surveillance model performance, ensuring high?quality alerting and transparent audit trails.
Build out controls for Credit and Spread?related instruments, including High Yield, Investment Grade, munis, structured credit, and credit?insurance spread products.
Conduct in?depth pattern analysis on high?risk alerts across order?driven and RFQ workflows.
Coordinate system releases, data?feed updates, and platform improvements with tech and implementation teams.
Oversee QA frameworks, ensuring monitoring teams are aligned with policy, procedure, and market?integrity standards.
Document model logic, escalation rules, and user procedures in alignment with risk?management frameworks.
Engage with global SMEs, risk partners, and front?office leaders to refine models, tuning logic, and surveillance gaps.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong Equities foundation, ideally starting their career on an Equities trading desk, product desk, or market?facing FO role before transitioning into surveillance or controls.
Hands?on experience with Trade Surveillance, especially within spreads, credit instruments, or equity?related products.
Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks: SEC, FINRA, FCA, ESMA, MAR, MiFID.
Finra experience is must.
Experience with tools such as Actimize, FIS, TCM, TradingHub, and bonus skills in SQL/Python/R.
Strong understanding of transactional workflows across Credit, Spread, and Equity markets, including HY/IG, corporate bonds, structured credit, and credit?insurance spread behavior.
Prior involvement in FLOD product management, model design, market?abuse detection, or regulatory change programs.
Ability to lead calibration cycles, QA programs, system?control implementations, and end?to?end platform rollouts.
Strong communication skills, able to partner with FO leadership, governance, risk, compliance, technology, and monitoring teams.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $75 - $80 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
