An established and rapidly expanding medical imaging service provider is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer to support healthcare facilities throughout Northwest Wisconsin.

You'll work with advanced diagnostic imaging systems while playing a critical role in helping healthcare providers deliver exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have experience servicing medical imaging equipment and a passion for troubleshooting complex technical issues in a customer-facing environment.

The Opportunity

As an Imaging Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment across a designated territory.

You'll work closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service.

This role offers autonomy, technical variety, and the opportunity to further develop your expertise across multiple imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical imaging equipment

Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults

Install, configure, and commission imaging systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Respond to emergency service calls and minimize equipment downtime

Maintain accurate service reports and documentation

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clinical staff

Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Provide technical support and training when required

Equipment Supported

Experience with one or more of the following modalities is highly desirable:

CT (Computed Tomography)

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

X-Ray / DR / CR

Ultrasound

PET-CT

Nuclear Medicine

Linear Accelerators

Requirements

Previous experience servicing medical imaging equipment

Strong electronic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to diagnose faults to the component level

Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region

Preferred Qualifications

OEM training or certifications from GE, Siemens, Philips, Canon, Hologic, or other major manufacturers

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline

Previous experience in a hospital or field service environment

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
