• J2EE / Spring Boot; creating/supporting REST APIs
• Angular 14+ / JavaScript (Need to be able to create Single Page Applications)

Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer to join our client in Smithfield, RI. This is an outstanding opportunity where you will play a key role on a Scrum team within the Digital Platforms Technology division. You will contribute to architecting, building, testing, and crafting the features that improve the client’s digital experiences. Your leadership, guidance, and mentoring will be essential to the success of the team.

What you will be responsible for

• Leading the development of innovative solutions that provide a seamless customer experience
• Supporting and collaborating with an agile team to deliver best-in-class web applications
• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions

The expertise and skills you bring

• 6+ years of software engineering experience; financial services experience is a plus
• BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience breaking down complex business problems into scalable solutions
• Strong critical thinking skills and desire for learning
• Ability to communicate technical needs to non-technical team members
• Ability to develop scalable, maintainable solutions

Technical Experience

• Server-side technologies such as Java EE and Spring Boot
• Client-side technologies such as Angular 14+ and JavaScript
• Agile software development methodologies
• Enterprise architecture frameworks such as Apache Camel

Nice to Have

• DevOps concepts including SCM, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment
• Client-side testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma
• Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment
• AWS certifications
• Knowledge of W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
