Main responsibilities:

We are seeking a System Admin Specialist with strong software development and systems integration skills to lead maintenance technology initiatives across multiple facilities. This role focuses on managing and customizing software platforms, including CMMS/EAM, telematics, energy management, battery chargers, racking, refrigeration, automation control systems, and reporting tools, to optimize performance and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines programming expertise with a working understanding of maintenance operations.
  • Software Management & Customization
    • Administer, configure, and enhance CMMS/EAM platforms for asset tracking and preventive maintenance.
    • Develop and modify telematics systems for fleet and equipment monitoring.
    • Customize energy management systems to improve sustainability and cost efficiency.
    • Support and optimize racking and refrigeration system software for compliance and performance.
    • Manage and improve automation control software for conveyor and robotic systems.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting
    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational insights.
    • Automate reporting processes and produce Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with actionable analytics.
  • Change Management & Troubleshooting
    • Lead system upgrades, configuration changes, and process improvements across all platforms.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues through code-level troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for integration and security compliance.
  • Performance Optimization
    • Analyze KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement predictive maintenance strategies leveraging data analytics and custom scripts.
  • Technology & AI Innovation
    • Proactively research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies-including artificial intelligence (AI) solutions-to enhance maintenance operations, drive automation, and improve decision-making.
    • Lead pilot projects and proofs of concept for advanced tools such as predictive analytics, asset health monitoring, and intelligent automation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating innovative technologies into existing maintenance platforms and processes.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement through adoption of cutting-edge solutions.
  • Required Skills & Competencies
    • Proficiency in CMMS/EAM systems, telematics, energy management, and automation control software.
    • Ability to write and modify code/scripts (e.g., SQL, Python, JavaScript, or platform-specific languages) across all systems.
    • Advanced Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint skills for data visualization and analytics.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in multi-system environments.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional projects.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
  • Education:
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent experience in software development and systems management.
    • Working knowledge of maintenance operations and industrial systems.
  • Experience:
    • 7 plus years in corporate maintenance or technology-driven operations.
    • Hands-on experience with automation control software, data analytics tools, and maintenance platforms.
  • Performance Metrics
    • System uptime and reliability.
    • Reduction in maintenance costs through analytics-driven decisions.
    • Timely delivery of QBRs and actionable insights.
  • Working Conditions
    • Work performed in both office and warehouse environments, including temperature-controlled office settings
    • Extended periods sitting at desk or computer terminal
    • Potential hazards from machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, trucks, trailers, etc.)
    • Fast-paced work environment
  • Equipment Used
    • Office equipment (PC, FAX, Scanner, Copier, etc.)
    • Analytical equipment (Infrared Imaging, Amp Draw Gauge, VOM, Data Logger, etc.)
