Structured Cabling Technicians (Levels 1-3)Location: North Charleston, SC
OverviewA large structured cabling project is starting in North Charleston, SC, and we are hiring
multiple technicians across Levels 1-3 to support new construction and existing facilities. This is a long-term project working alongside experienced permanent staff in a team-based environment.
Open Positions- Junior Technicians (Level 1-2) - 2 openings
- Senior Technician (Level 3) - 1 opening
Work Environment- New construction and existing facilities
- Steel-toed boots required
- PPE will be provided
- Commercial jobsite environment
ResponsibilitiesLevel 3 Technician (Senior)- Run and install structured cabling (Cat6)
- Perform punch-downs in telecommunications/com closets
- Terminate jacks and test cabling
- Hang cable using J-hooks
- Work closely with lead technicians and permanent staff
- Maintain quality, productivity, and jobsite professionalism
Required Tools:- Punch-down tool with 66 & 110 blades
- Snips
- Utility knife
Level 1-2 Technicians (Junior)- Pull and route structured cabling
- Hang cable using J-hooks
- Assist Senior technicians with terminations and punch-downs
- Learn industry best practices on the job
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Tools:- Snips
- Utility knife
- Steel-toed boots
Required Skills- Cat6 cabling
- Punch-down terminations
- Basic testing and termination knowledge (for higher levels)
Additional Qualifications- Professional, customer-facing demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
- Minimal supervision required
Common Reasons Technicians Do Not Succeed on This Project- Failure to show up or calling out last minute
- Chronic lateness
- Excessive phone use on the job
- Poor attitude or behavior that impacts team productivity
Experience Level- Multiple levels open (Junior through Senior)

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charleston, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
