Position: Insurance Business Analyst (US Benefits)

Experience: 8+ years preferred

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with US Insurance / Benefits Administration domain expertise to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and coordinate with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering and solution design for US benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, open enrollment, life events, eligibility rules, and carrier integrations.
• Translate regulatory requirements (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) into functional specifications, user stories, and configuration requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, onshore stakeholders, offshore delivery teams, QA, and configuration teams.
• Manage priorities, scope, UAT feedback, and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor Business Analysts, review deliverables, and drive process improvements.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in US Benefits Administration or US Health Insurance / Payer domain.
• Knowledge of eligibility, enrolment workflows, plan structures, claims basics, and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with 834 EDI files and carrier integrations.
• Strong requirements documentation, stakeholder management, and UAT skills.
• Experience with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations.
