Senior Data Engineer (Python) – Billing & Payment Platform

Join a fast-growing company focused on improving human metabolic health. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance and scale our Billing & Partner Integrations platform, supporting payments, reconciliation, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable microservices and data pipelines using Python

• Integrate with payment platforms (e.g., Stripe) for credit card, HSA/FSA transactions, and reconciliation

• Develop ETL workflows using DBT, Workato, Rivery, Snowflake

• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and performance

• Support billing audits and cross-functional operations

• Maintain technical documentation and data specifications

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong Python and SQL expertise

• Experience with data pipelines, ETL tools & microservices architecture

• Familiarity with billing/payment systems

Nice to Have

• Healthcare billing knowledge (EDI X12, HL7, FHIR)

• Experience with large-scale analytics or rules engines
