he SAP Functional Consultant for Supply Chain plays a crucial role in aligning the functional capabilities of the SAP S/4 solution with the strategic goals of the FCS organization. This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the SAP S/4 Supply Chain (MM) solution, ensuring it effectively supports FCS business processes and enhances operational efficiency. The SAP Functional Consultant for Supply Chain will be a highly experienced business analyst who acts as a subject matter expert for all Supply Chain related processes within SAP. The role involves working with the FCS Supply Chain team, the FCS IT team, and the solution integrator to analyze requirements, design best in class solutions, configure the SAP S/4 system, and test/deploy the SAP S/4 HANA solution for FCS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Gather, document and translate business needs into SAP solutions for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, which covers planning, purchasing, inventory, and payment within SAP''s MM and FI modules.
· Provide ongoing support for SAP P2P processes like planning, guided buying, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
· Provide consulting support for master data and data migration strategies/execution.
· System Configuration: Configure SAP S/4 for Supply Chain business needs including demand planning, production planning, procurement, and inventory management to meet business needs and standards.
· Integration & Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain solution with other SAP modules and external applications.
· Testing & Deployment: Develop test plans, execute test scenarios, and validate results, supporting the deployment of new SAP S/4 Supply Chain solutions.
· Communication and leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, manage expectations & train end-users.
· Experience with integrations: Knowledge of how MM/IM integrates with other SAP modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), and FICO as well as third-party systems.
· Support & Problem-Solving: Provide post launch support for SAP MM/IM/SDFI-CO, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
