SAP Fiori Developer (S/4HANA) Public Sector / Utilities

A water district is launching a major SAP S/4HANA modernization initiative in Q1 2026 to enhance user experience and streamline essential operations-from field maintenance to customer service and procurement. To support this effort, the district is seeking an SAP Fiori Developer for a 6-month remote contract. This role is open to help deliver new, intuitive Fiori applications and improve existing tools that employees rely on daily across the organization.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience developing custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications in an S/4HANA environment.

• Strong knowledge of OData services, SAP Gateway, CDS Views, and Fiori Elements.

• Ability to turn operational and business requirements into user-friendly, reliable applications for both field and office teams.

• Experience configuring and enhancing the Fiori Launchpad, roles, catalogs, and app branding.

• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and integration troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-technical users in a public-sector setting.

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role supporting a small IT team.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working with municipalities, utilities, or local government agencies.

• Knowledge of public sector processes, especially related to asset management, inspections, and work management.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP or mobile Fiori development.

• Experience supporting modernization or digital transformation within smaller organizations.
