Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Lead - Hybrid for a contract to hire opportunity with a Major Financial Institution. This position can be located in either Cleveland, OH or Albany, NY and requires being onsite 2 days a week. This Technical Lead position is in a support/development area for the Leasing division. This individual will work closely with the line of business and technology colleagues to assist in the development, implementation, assessment, and support of applications, while also serving as a mentor to junior engineers.
Responsibilities: - Serve as a full-stack .Net developer
- Refine and document technical needs in Jira, translating business requirements to technical tasks
- Manage code reviews and merges into the release branch using GitLab
- Help define the technology roadmap
- Develop high-quality, clean, and maintainable code while establishing and enforcing coding best practices
- Lead the design and oversight of system architecture to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability
- Serve as the team's technical subject matter expert, mentoring junior engineers
- Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and integrate security best practices
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and define strategies across the software development lifecycle
Requirements: - Undergraduate degree in business or technology related major or equivalent work experience
- Own the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more components of an environment, application, or platform
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, SQL programming logic and reporting
- Understanding of languages including .Net, C#, and SQL
- Capable of effectively handling multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
Desired skills: - Experience in commercial lending supporting one or more areas of the loan lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of Agile software development methodology
- Experience working on geographically diverse teams
- Experience with JIRA and GitLab
- Strong understanding of ASP.NET and MVC
Pay range: $72.00 per hour
