Summary
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 / Power Platform ALM Architect to lead enterprise-level Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy across complex, multi-environment implementations.
This role will own environment strategy, source control governance, CI/CD automation, release management, deployment standards, and compliance processes across Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
This is not a traditional DevOps role. The ideal candidate must deeply understand how Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform behave in enterprise delivery models.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement end-to-end ALM framework for Dynamics 365 & Power Platform
• Define environment segmentation strategy (Dev / SIT / UAT / Prod / Sandbox)
• Establish solution management standards (managed vs unmanaged solutions, layering, versioning, patching strategy)
• Implement Git branching strategy and source control governance
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Automate solution export/import, environment variables, and deployment configurations
• Define deployment sequencing, rollback strategy, and dependency management
• Lead release governance, CAB coordination, and deployment scheduling
• Integrate automated testing and quality controls into release pipelines
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform
• Proven experience designing and owning enterprise ALM strategy
• Strong expertise in:
• Managed vs Unmanaged solutions
• Solution layering and publisher strategy
• Versioning and release discipline
• Environment copy/reset implications
• Hands-on experience with:
• Git (Azure DevOps Repos or GitHub)
• Branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, release branches)
• Pull request governance and code review process
• CI/CD & Automation experience:
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• YAML pipeline configuration
• Automated solution deployment
• Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI)
• Environment variable management
• Understanding of:
• Release management processes
• Change control / CAB coordination
• Testing automation integration
• Plugin unit testing and regression strategy
• Azure & Security knowledge:
• Service principals
• App registrations
• Managed identities
• DLP policies
• Dynamics security roles
• Experience with data and configuration management across environments

• Experience in Healthcare, Public Sector, or other regulated industries
• Experience with Power Platform CoE Starter Kit governance
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform native pipelines
• Exposure to automated UI testing tools (EasyRepro, Playwright, Selenium)
• Experience managing multi-team enterprise release programs
