Position Title: Junior Finance Analyst

Experience: 0–1 Year

Role Overview

The Junior Finance Analyst will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities within the organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and a willingness to learn financial processes and tools. The role involves working with financial data to assist in business decision-making and operational tracking.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial reports, including expense tracking and revenue summaries
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Perform variance analysis to identify differences between actuals and forecasts
Validate financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support month-end and quarter-end financial processes
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial inputs and clarify data
Contribute to the preparation of presentations and management reports

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

Strong numerical and analytical thinking
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interpret data and draw basic conclusions
Good communication and collaboration skills
Willingness to learn financial concepts and tools

Minimum Requirements

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data handling)
Understanding of numbers, calculations, and data interpretation
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to accounting principles or financial statements
Familiarity with financial tools or ERP systems
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI (optional)

Candidates from non-finance backgrounds with strong analytical skills may also be considered
