Product Owner

• This will be a 100% Remote role

  Will be working with New Delivery Team for Insurance Products and Benefits

• Team will be developing a Data Lake for Insurance product

• The candidate should be having a strong understanding of Data Lake, Data Migration, Data Transformation, Data bricks.

Responsibilities:

• Should use Jira Align and Azure DevOps for tracking

• Partner with Architects, delivery team, Scrum Master and navigate through Multiple Groups.

• Strong Stakeholders communication is required for this position.

• Current Scrum Master is working offshore, should be able to communicate and work closely.

   

Key Discussion Points:

• Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of Product Owner/Product Management experience
• Strong exposure to Agile/Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments
• Agile experience is mandatory (any similar agile frameworks acceptable)
• Tooling & Technical Skills:
• Experience with Jira Align and Azure DevOps (primary tools)
• Exposure to data platforms, data lakes, and modern data architecture
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar technologies
• Understanding of data definitions and data usability
• Domain Preference:
• Preferred experience in Healthcare Insurance domain
• Insurance products
• Benefits or plan build processes
• Core Product Owner Responsibilities:
• Define, prioritize, and manage product backlog
• Write well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria
• Ensure completeness of user stories for UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
• Capture testing scenarios to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Drive development of a high-quality data product
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills:
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
• Work closely with:
• Solution Architects
• Engineers
• Scrum Masters
• Business stakeholders
• Facilitate upstream and downstream collaboration
• Business & Strategic Alignment:
• Bridge gap between Business and IT
• Ensure data availability, clarity, and usability for stakeholders
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of data lake solutions
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in user-centered design
• Conducting user interviews and usability discussions
• Certifications in Agile/Product Ownership:
• SAFe POPM (Product Owner/Product Manager) preferred
